The original Angel Wings artist - Colette Miller created the "Global Angel Wings Project" in 2012 on the streets of the City of Angels (Los Angeles). They were painted to remind humanity that WE are the angels of the earth and are human-sized, interactive pubic art wings for people to take photos with & become part of the art. The first was just street art but response was natural and immediate, and since then - the artist took the movement globally and painted wings in Kenya, Australia, England, Japan, France, Cuba, Mexico, Dubai, Taiwan, and many in the USA. Some are commissioned and others gifted, but the wings themselves are free to the world.
